"The Urban Core" defines a cutting-edge corporate environment for KEYS, successfully blending a dark, industrial, and minimalist aesthetic with the profound benefits of biophilic design. The primary goal was to create a dynamic, engaging workspace that utilizes natural elements to enhance employee well-being, focus, and productivity within a modern city setting.

• Industrial Chic Palette: The design relies on a striking, sophisticated contrast between dark charcoal and black finishes (used on walls, ceilings, and modular partitions) and the warmth of light oak wood flooring and wall paneling. Accents of grey, marbled stone introduce an organic texture to the dark palette, maintaining a high-end, contemporary feel.
• Immersive Biophilic Elements: Extensive use of vertical garden walls (living walls) and large, strategically placed planters throughout the circulation and work areas is central to the design. This green integration acts as both a natural screen, offering privacy and visual softness, and a critical component in improving air quality and employee connection to nature.
• Reception & Branding Focus: The entrance makes a strong brand statement. The custom, geometric reception desk (combining light concrete and dark wood) is dramatically positioned against a high vertical garden wall, where the "KEYS" logo is subtly illuminated. This creates an immediate, memorable, and nature-infused welcome.
• Defined Work Zones: Glass partitioning and subtle material changes define different work areas (private offices, open meeting spaces) without obstructing natural light or the visual flow of greenery. Workstations feature modern, minimalist desks with clean lines and comfortable, neutral seating, promoting focus in a stimulating yet uncluttered environment.
• Technical Lighting Strategy: The ceiling design incorporates linear strip lighting and custom track lighting within exposed or slatted wood ceiling panels. This integrated lighting not only provides excellent task illumination but also reinforces the linear, modern geometry of the space.

The "Urban Core" project for KEYS establishes a benchmark for high-performance, aesthetically progressive office design, proving that corporate rigor can coexist beautifully with ecological sensitivity.
